Terms and Conditions

3.1 Minimum Rental Period

All trailer rentals have a minimum rental period of 3 days. Weekend specials are available for collection on Friday before 12:00 and return on Monday before 12:00.

3.2 Deposit

A refundable deposit of R5,000 is required for all rentals. The deposit will be refunded upon return of the trailer in good condition, subject to inspection.

3.3 Booking and Availability

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred dates. Availability inquiries can be submitted through our website or by contacting us directly.

Payment terms will be agreed upon at the time of booking. The rental fee and deposit must be paid before the trailer is collected. Acceptable payment methods will be communicated during the booking process.

5.1 Proper Use

You agree to:

• Use the trailer only for its intended purpose
• Operate the trailer in accordance with provided instructions
• Ensure the trailer is connected to a 220V power supply when in use
• Not overload the trailer beyond its capacity
• Keep the trailer clean and in good condition
• Not sublet or transfer the rental to any third party

5.2 Damage and Loss

You are responsible for any damage to or loss of the trailer during the rental period. Costs for repairs or replacement will be deducted from the deposit or billed separately if they exceed the deposit amount.

5.3 Return Condition

The trailer must be returned in the same condition as it was received, normal wear and tear excepted. The interior should be clean and free of debris.

Cancellation terms will be communicated at the time of booking. We recommend reviewing these carefully as they may affect deposit refunds and cancellation fees.

7.1 Our Liability

While we maintain our trailers to high standards, we are not liable for any loss or damage to goods stored in the trailer. We recommend that you maintain appropriate insurance for your goods.

7.2 Your Liability

You are liable for any damage caused to third parties or property through your use of the trailer during the rental period.

In the event of a breakdown or malfunction due to normal use, contact us immediately. We will arrange for repairs or replacement as quickly as possible. You are responsible for breakdowns caused by misuse or negligence.

We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power outages, or government restrictions.

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Blue Western Cape and is protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
